Giiro joints
All 8 of the adjustable control arms included in the Overland Plus kit feature the dual durometer Giiro joint bushings on both ends. These are free pivoting, self-lubricating, self-centering, silent in operation and maintenance free bushings that make the kits ride like butter no matter what's underneath your vehicle. If that all sounds like it's too good to be true, that's because it should be - but the structured anatomy of the Giiro bushings matched with their superior material formulation allows two distant worlds to meet as one, providing you the desirable comfort of a daily driver and then easily transitioning to meet the extreme demands of rugged off-road terrain. The Giiro joint is also used for both our front and rear adjustable track bars, which also bolt in using the existing factory hardware.
Front and rear adjustable track bar is constructed from DOM tubing. At both ends there are Giiro joints to help absorb road noise and vibrations for a smooth and comfortable ride. The Giiro joint is a dual durometer, self centering joint, that is maintenance free. The outside part of the bushing is softer, to isolate road noise and vibrations and allow the bushing to articulate. It has 13,3 degree of movement in each direction, or 26,6 degrees combined per bushing.
Clayton Off Road's coil springs are equipped with coils that provide the best quality and make it easy to ensure the safety and reliability of your car. They were designed to provide the best in ride quality without sacrificing durability and load carrying capacity. The springs also have an optimal range of operation and will maintain proper handling properties regardless of the type of terrain or use. Each coil spring is powder coated black.
The links feature a heim joint with aluminum spacers on the passenger side lower, creating a simple bolt on solution. No need to cut up your vehicle with this setup. The other locations use a end link which allows the movement and adjustment your lifted Jeep needs to properly function both on and offroad.
