Soft shackle 10" and 20"
Soft shackle may be used as a lightweight replacement connecting rigging for common steel screw pin shackles. Made in the USA under the uncompromised Factor 55 quality standards. Like all Factor 55 rigging products, these shackles have been lab and field-tested to assure consistent minimum breaking strength values. Each extreme duty soft shackle is constructed of HMPE Plasma rope that includes additional abrasion and UV protection with a woven polyester jacket that is carefully whipped and coated with Fiber Lock. Note how the protective jacket is attached close to the knot, providing as much abrasion protection as possible. For their size and weight, these Extreme Duty Soft Shackles provide an additional verified breaking strengths when compared to common standard soft shackles on the market today.

Pulley XTV with standard soft shackle
Soft shackles may be used as a lightweight replacement connecting rigging for common steel screw pin shackles. The Factor 55 10" (pull to pull length) Standard Duty Soft Shackles are made in the USA under the uncompromised Factor 55 quality standards. Like all Factor 55 rigging products, these shackles have been lab and field-tested to assure consistent repeatable minimum breaking strength values. Each Standard Duty soft shackle is constructed of 7/16 diameter UHMWPE 12 strand rope similar in construction to synthetic winch lines. The RRP XTV can be used to increase pulling power or redirect the winch line. During momentary slack, patented rope retention rubber fingers prevent synthetic winch rope from escaping the pulley groove preventing premature rope failure. The oversized hole radius provides a smooth rubbing surface and keeps the legs of the soft shackle from rubbing on the edges of the RRP XTV. The critical friction surface has also been teflon treated to increase slickness and heat dissipation.

Shorty strap 3'x2", 8'x3" and 3'x3"
The short straps are designed to serve as a versatile short soft link to attach to vehicles and are constructed of an ultra low stretch (low energy storage) polyester, not high stretch nylon like typical snatch straps. The applications vary from easily attaching to vehicles that are not equipped with recovery points, to using your winch and shorty strap to field repair/straighten bent steering components like tie rods and drag links. The inherit flat shape of the straps prevent the straps from rolling and twisting when attached to tubular shapes like bumper stingers, steering components, and nerf bars. We prefer flat straps over round ropes for this reason. Low stretch/energy storage equates to less recoil energy during a possible component failure.

Extreme tow strap
Tow straps are designed for pulling or towing vehicles. Because towing a vehicle often results in the tow strap making contact to the ground, the abraded low energy storage tow strap will not recoil as severely if a strap failure occurs. Factor 55 tow straps are manufactured in the USA from a low stretch 100% Polyester material. 2" straps can easily fit into common 3/4" screw pin shackle openings and Factor 55 has discovered that the edges of 2" straps do not get abraded as easily as wider 3 and 4" wide straps. Tow strap in an Extreme Duty version has a cordura protective sleeve. It protects the inner strap from abrasion caused from dragging the strap on the ground during longer distance tows.
