Functional relocation from Rubicon Express
Rubicon Express rear shock mount relocation is recommended for use when applying suspension lift to your vehicle. You will appreciate the extra ground clearance when off-roading. Added clearance from the shock on the axle shaft to make sure articulation is not hindered during off road use. It creates a better working angle for the shocks. Take a look under your TJ. The factory rear lower shock mounts won't last very long if you drive aggressively. They also line up the rear shock, increasing overall strength.
